    About Us

Artemis Academy is a new specialist school for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), is set to open in January 2027 in a state-of-the-art building on Lechlade Road, Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

The academy will initially admit approximately 30 pupils, growing steadily over four years to a capacity of 100. It will provide a therapeutic day education for students aged 7–18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). All pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Artemis Academy is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for its pupils through high-quality teaching, strong relationships, and integrated therapeutic support. Its curriculum is founded on the principle that every interaction and experience is a learning opportunity, extending beyond the classroom into daily life through connection, reflection and shared success. Therapeutic practice underpins all aspects of the school’s approach, ensuring that pupils feel safe, understood and ready to engage in learning. A consistent, relational and trauma-informed model supports each student to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The new purpose-built academy will provide an inspirational learning environment and will build on the success of other schools within The Gallery Trust.
