Recruitment
Working at Artemis Academy requires a high level of emotional awareness, reflection, and professional curiosity. Supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs means engaging with complex experiences and responding with empathy, consistency, and care. We place strong value on staff being able to recognise and understand their own emotional responses, as this underpins effective relationships and safe, attuned practice. As a school, we are committed to creating a culture where staff feel supported to do this important work.
There are many benefits to working at Artemis Academy. One of these is our strong commitment to staff wellbeing through reflective supervision. At Artemis, reflective supervision is a central part of how we support our staff. All staff take part in regular one-to-one and group supervision, providing structured, protected spaces to reflect, process experiences, and strengthen practice. This approach not only supports staff wellbeing and resilience, but also ensures that our work with children and young people remains thoughtful, consistent, and relational at all times.
